I’m a junior at Palm Beach Atlantic University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and aspiring to build a career in web development. I have hands-on experience planning, designing, developing, and testing responsive, interactive websites, as well as managing content and user interface components. I’m passionate about how technology and coding shape the ways we live, work, and connect — and how innovation can drive meaningful change in the world.
Produced graphic assets for product customization applications for Wilson Sporting Goods such as custom gloves and EvoShield products. This included creating and exporting SVG files for the apps and communicating with the Director of UX and Development to complete the assets on multiple timelines. This helped strengthen my eye for detail as well as my communication with other roles within the business.
Mapped and created wireframes for two product customization applications (Basketball / Football). This included the creation of customer journeys and high-level wireframes necessary for both D2C and B2B applications. This taught me how to design user centered wireframes to help improve digital workflow and produce accessible interfaces.
Worked with python, pandas, and MySQL to transform business data into easy to read graphs and charts to be displayed within a dashboard. I strategically selected key data points based on their relevance to business goals in order to design clear, visual presentations. This project allowed me to strengthen my ability to transform and analyze data using python and SQL to provide important insight to company data.
I created a basic personal website using HTML and CSS hosted through IONOS. Where we focused on integrating the core aspects of a webpage such as layout/organization, styling, and responsiveness. My website, cbonney.com displays my understanding of front-end development while also highlighting some of my technical and creative skills.
I have worked with various data structures and developed an understanding of how to approach problem solving through efficient algorithms. I learned how to evaluate solutions based on time and space complexity in order to write cleaner and more efficient code.
I am proficient in organizing and maintaining large sets of product data to ensure accuracy and consistency across multiple websites. I worked with other teams to gather product specifications and validate data in order to reduce errors and improve the efficiency of product updates.
I have learned how to test various open source applications for usability, reliability, and functionality. This helped me understand the importance of attention to detail and clean documentation to help developers identify and fix any issues.
